Nickname System

Enable/disable nicknames:

• On the Hierarchy window find the Scripts Holder object
• Find the Game Controller script
• Check or uncheck Use Nicknames variable

Add or edit nicknames:

• Select the Nicknames Database located in the Assets/Project Files/Data/Nicknames System folder.

• You can manually modify the Nicknames list of nicknames (add, change, move or delete elements).

• Alternatively, you can upload a .txt file with new nicknames, they will be parsed and added to the list automatically:

  • Create a .txt file with nicknames, each nickname should be separated with “;” (there is an example file in the Project Files/Data/Nicknames System)
  • Import your file in unity
  • Drag and drop into the Parse And Add field at the bottom of the Nickname Database
  • New nicknames will be added to the list, already existing names will be ignored
